My mum and I stayed for a couple of weeks at the motel and never felt so welcome and cared for as much as we were. We had a lovely time reading and lazing by the pool, walking down to the beach which is very close as are the shops. The accommodation was clean and well maintained and it was like being a home away from home. On the rainy days we played pool and table tennis in the games room while we did our laundry. The owners of the motel are such a wonderful couple and they made our stay even more enjoyable with our daily chats and occasional runs into town. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them both again for the time we spent there. It is a little slice of heaven in Tahunanui.
