The Fountain Resort Motel is quite simply fantastic for families! We have spacious enclosed grounds featuring an Adventure Playground, complete with flying fox and bouncy castle for the littlies in summer. The solar heated Swimming Pool area is a great place for that family BBQ or simply lounge on the loungers enjoying the Nelson sunshine. Our large games room/mini gym is guaranteed to entertain the teenagers.

Things to Do - In and Around Nelson
Tahunanui Beach Reserve provides safe swimming and recreation for all the family. The reserve includes a zoo, waterpark, playground, modellers pond, skating rink, BMX track and a licensed cafe.
Nelson is an exciting place to explore. We have an excellent range of cafes, restaurants and retail complexes. The Saturday Outdoor Market is a weekly highlight where various entrepreneurs showcase their produce - from organic vegetables through to specialist foods, jewellery and crafts.
The renowned "World of Wearable Arts" museum is just minutes away and is a 'must see'. Not only showcasing the fabulous exhibits from the Show but it boasts an extensive collection of Classic cars and motorbikes.
The Nelson Region has attracted artists and craftspeople from all over the world, while the climate is encouraging a rapid growth in vineyards. Take time to tour the local vineyards, olive groves, boutique breweries and artist galleries. Nelson also has no less than three National Parks on it's doorstep; each within easy driving distance and manageable in a day trip.
